Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser, why, and what happens if you decide not to accept it.
What a cookie is
A small file a site stores in your browser to remember information between visits, such as whether you’ve visited before or which pages interested you.
Cookies Cisnetic uses
| Tool | Uses cookies? | What it stores | Needs your consent? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | No | Nothing identifiable. It measures visits in aggregate and anonymously, without telling one person from another. | No. It works the same for every visitor, whether or not the banner is accepted. |
| Google Analytics | Yes | Identifiers that recognize repeat visits from the same person (standard GA4 cookies: _ga, _ga_<container-id>). | Yes. It’s only activated if you accept the cookie banner. |
Cisnetic doesn’t use advertising cookies, social network cookies, or any third-party cookies beyond these two tools.
How you decide
The first time you enter the site, a banner asks whether you accept Google Analytics cookies. You can:
- Accept: Cisnetic activates Google Analytics alongside Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Decline: Cisnetic keeps measuring your visit with Cloudflare Web Analytics only, without being able to recognize you as a returning visitor. The site works exactly the same, with nothing blocked.
You can change your decision at any time by clearing the site’s cookies from your browser settings. There’s no control yet to withdraw consent without leaving the site.
How long they last
Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_<container-id>) expire two years after the last visit, per GA4’s default configuration. Cisnetic hasn’t changed that value.
